Painted Fruits

Today I have painted all the fruits - the strawberries, the blueberries and the cherries. I think, they look more realistic as my Fimo ones. Unfortunately, they don't look very good in the picture, but in real they are beautiful. You can already see that they are not real, but I think they are really well done. I just need to find the right color mixture, I guess.
Tomorrow I will make some smaller strawberries and other small fruits. Maybe I will add a few stems and leaves, so that they look more like real fruits. I also need some raspberries, but I do not know, how to make them. I will see. I'll keep you up to date. :)

Fruits And New Things

Yesterday I've opened a new pack of clay. It's quite differently to the first package, not so soft and the touch is more like Fimo or other Polymer Clays; maybe just a bit more soft and it dry a bit transparent. I think, it is really good for fruits and miniatures, but at the moment I'm too slow and not good enough to make more complex things. The clay dry just too fast for me. ^^
In next time I need to paint all the fruits  and I'm really excited to see the finished results. I hope after that, the fruits will look more realistic as my Fimo ones.

Some Ice Cream For Summer

Unhappily the most of the stuff I've made in the last days are still unfinished. So I can't show you a lot of new things and I think, it'll need some more time until they are finished. I've painted the most stuff, but I need to decorate it with some whipped cream, sauces and others. Also I don't really know, for what I will use the stuff and this is the reason why I omitted the eyepins. I think I'll use some of the stuff for deco-den projects.

First Attempts With Air Dry Clay

Yesterday I've got a new order with a big range of air dry clays and other materials. Of course I wanted to try some of the clay packages and I have started with one of my cheapest clays, and what should I say? I'm so happy that I bought it and tried it! At first I was a bit unsure if I can handle the clay and I've read so many different opinions. Polymer clay, which I used to work with is completely different to the most air dry clays. I thought back to my early days with Fimo and I was anxious. I was torn but my curiosity has finally won. I think it's not good to believe all the people. Everyone should make his own experiences, because all people are different. The first one can handle the clay very well, but the second one could have a lot of problems.
